Looking at all the work the CPM1 will have ahead of them (with nothing in return mostly) we are thinking of offer each elected candidate a sponsorship from Multiplex Gaming when the time comes.
This post is open for feedback and discussion of this idea by those running and by the public. We have a lot of time and I'd like to get this off the ground with your help.
How it might work:
The sponsorship will be on a month to month base with an agreement(that will be posted public) and will only be given to the CPM1 members doing their work.
MPX & myself will not ask for or expect any special treatment or agenda pushing from those who are sponsored.
What you will get:
Through this sponsorship you will be given game codes time to time for AUR and in game gear as well as other items and support. A blog on our site plus you will be given a GÇ£Soap BoxGÇ¥ on our podcasts to speak to the community anytime you wish. I know it does not look like a lot now, but beats nothing.
We recognize that you will be under a lot of work and we would like to make it a little more worth while.
Like said above please post any questions and feedback to help me craft this idea in to something that will help the CPM1 in their up and coming task.
Thanks

Soraya Xel wrote:- Anything I would get as a result of being on the CPM, I would give away to the community. The job is not for profit.
I fig most would do the same and that's why I want to go with codes. That way it can be used as give aways if you wish. It's also why we would not offer any type of cash sponsorship for the role.
Soraya Xel wrote:- Regarding the podcast, I'd always be open on additional avenues to communicate back and forth with people.
Of course it will always be open for those members who are not sponsored as it is now, but we would like to have a weekly seat open for the CPM
Soraya Xel wrote:- Regarding the blog, I'd probably either post here on the forums, or put up my own blog. Unless the CPM1 as a whole does a communal blog site, which I have seen the CSM do, I believe.
It is a place to put up your own blog and would be by choice if you would like to use our site or just go through another blog site.

Spartacus Dust wrote:And on a final note I would like to see once in a while, CPM and CSM do a podcast together to explain how THEY are working together with CCP to improve the gameplay between the two.
From talking with some of the current CSM, they don't display a particular interest in DUST or improving the gameplay between the two.
On our latest episode of Podside Mike A from the CSM spoke about the DUST part of the CSM min were taken out do to NDA... He went on to say that since he didnt understand the game (from not playing) he didnt understand which parts were secret and which were not.
It would be nice to see some of this stuff after the fact, but since Im not in the NDA club Im not sure "why" or "why not" we can not know the after math of who did what

Kain Spero wrote:Providing a forum for CPM to spread a message is one thing. Boots on The Ground and the CPM AMA hosted by Gimble are a great example of that. Giving CPM perks in the form of codes, however, just feels a bit off.
Hey Kain thanks man. Much better feedback
Think I got what I needed
